Mighty Jets Commiserate With Nasarawa United On Idris
Published: December 30, 2015The management of Nigeria National League outfit, Mighty Jets FC of Jos, is sympathizing with the management of Nasarawa United FC of Lafia for the untimely death of its squad captain, Idris Baba, who passed on to the great beyond on Monday.
In a statement released by the Club through its Media Officer, Mbum Ferdinand, the Club’s Chairman, Godfrey Hamza, said the demise of the committed star is not only a loss to Nasarawa United but the entire nation.
Hamza also prayed for the management of the Club, teammates of the fallen player as well as the player’s family would have the fortitude to bear the loss.
Hamza concluded by saying Mighty Jets FC of Jos would continue to mourn with Nasarawa United on the demise of Idris.
Idris was said to have been sick for about two weeks but gave up the ghost on Monday night in hospital.
The Team Manager of the Club, Solomon Babanja, released a statement on Tuesday that the player had been buried in the morning according to Islamic rites.
