Mighty Jets Give Christmas Break To Players, To Resume January 4th
Published: December 20, 2015
Following the fast approaching periods of festivities, the Chairman of Mighty Jets FC of Jos, Godfrey Hamza, has approved management’s decision to send players and officials of the team on Christmas and New Year break to resume on January 4, 2016.
In a statement released by the Club through its Media Officer, Mbum Ferdinand, the Club wished the players safe trips back to their respective homes, particularly those residing outside of Plateau State and advised them to celebrate the yuletide with caution as they must avoid alcoholism, use of hard drugs and other vices that could pose dangers to the enhancement of their careers.
Meanwhile, the Club also asked Players who were dropped during the team’s screening exercise not to come back so as to pave the way for the Coaches to give opportunity to those Players who have not had the chance to play.
Mighty Jets FC are painstakingly preparing ahead of the Nigeria National League 2015/2016 campaign which is expected to commence early next year following assurances given by Management to the Governor Simon Lalong-led administration in Plateau State that they would grab promotion and join hometown rivals Plateau United in the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, next year.
