Osayamen Osawe Continues To Sparkle For Hallescher FC
Published: December 19, 2015Blackburn Rovers product Osayamen Osawe netted his ninth goal of this season in the German 3 Liga in Hallescher FC’s 4 - 0 rout of Holstein Kiel in the latest round of matches played in the third tier on Friday night.
Selim Aydemir opened scoring in the 32nd minute and from that point the visitors were in complete control of the game, with Lagos - born Osawe scoring three minutes before the intermission.
The highlight of Osawe’s performance for Hallescher FC since he joined the club from Southport in July 2014 was his hat - trick against Werder Bremen II on October 17.
The 22 - year - old also hit target in the league in games against Fortuna Cologne, Chemnitzer FC, Rot-Weiß Erfurt, Stuttgart II and Magdeburg and was credited with 2 assists prior to yesterday’s game at the Holstein-Stadion.
Hallescher FC are now unbeaten in six games and sit seventh in the standings.
