Fatai Alashe Named Best Young Player At San Jose Earthquakes

United States youth - teamer Fatai Alashe has been named the Best Young Player at San Jose Earthquakes by Major League Soccer.
Over the course of the 2015 season, the Michigan - born midfielder made a total of 28 appearances ( 27 starts ) for the Quakes, tallying two goals in games against Seattle Sounders and Chicago Fire.

The 22 - year - old Alashe starred for the United States at the 2015 Toulon Tournament and netted in their 2 - 1 loss to Costa Rica.
He was one of the three players nominated for the 2015 AT&T Rookie of the Year award, which was won by Orlando City forward Cyle Larin.
