Tom Adeyemi Goal Helps Leeds United Beat Hull City
Published: December 05, 2015A 45th minute goal from midfielder Tom Adeyemi helped Leeds United beat Hull City 2 - 1 on game week 19 in the Championship on Saturday.
New Zealand star Chris Wood had given the Whites the lead on the half- hour mark before Adeyemi doubled the advantage, slamming the ball into the back of the net after Hull City netminder McGregor had parried the ball into his path.
Three Anglo - Nigerians were named in the starting XI at Elland Road, with Sone Aluko and Moses Odubajo starting for the visitors and Adeyemi playing the full game for the home team.
Arsenal loanee Chuba Akpom came on for Hull City in the 71st minute and would have snatched a late equalizer but headed wide from about six yards.
The Tigers have dropped to fourth position in the Championship standings while Leeds United are 17th.
