The former Esperance starlet has dedicated his goal to his beloved mother, who celebrated her birthday at the start of last month.
“I am pleased that we won 3 - 1 and I scored one goal with one assist. Thank God I was named Man of the Match, ” an excited Emeka Emerum told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“I dedicate the goal to my mum who had her birthday last month, October 1.”
The 20 - year - old had stops at Bayern Munich, Esperance and Olympique de Béja prior to his shift to FK Sloboda Užice in August 2015.
