Jordon Ibe Eager To Work With New Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp
Published: October 12, 2015Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe says he can’t wait to return from international duty with the England Under 21s and begin training under the new coach of The Reds, Jurgen Klopp.
But the Anglo - Nigerian had kind words to say about former coach Brendan Rodgers , admitting that he played a key role in his career before he was dismissed.
“I can’t wait to get back and start working with him now,” Jordon Ibe told thefa.com.
“I can only try and get better with the help he’s hopefully going to provide for me, and there’s a lot of other young players, so working around him should be great and also for the senior players in the squad.
“It’s a shame (about Rodgers), because he was an important man in my career. ”
Ibe is poised to play for the Under 21 team of England in their game against Kazakhstan at the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday.
