Success Tiyu To Honor Fresh, Wada, Abel Baba Others
Published: September 24, 2015One of the fastest growing sports promotion outfits in Nigeria, Success Tiyu is set to honor outstanding Nigerians that have contributed to the development of sports in the country.
Among those that will be decorated with an award of excellence are member of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF Alhaji Yusuf Ahmed Fresh, former President of NFF, Alhaji Sanni Lulu Abdullahi, chairman of Kogi State Football Association, Mallam Umar Isah, his vice, Mallam Hassan Wada, Chairman of Kogi United and Confluence Queens, Abdul Sule, FIFA referee, Abel Baba and Mrs Agnes Okai.
The brain behind the concept, Abubakar Musa who is fondly called Manaman noted that the award is to say thank you to the sons and daughters from North Central zone of Nigeria who have contributed immensely to the rapid development of sports.
“We identified that some of our illustrious sons and daughters from this zone have been making us proud and we felt that it will be something worthy to appreciate them, spur them to do more and of course use the medium to tell others to follow suit, ” Manaman said.
Among the award recipients for the day also include Honorable Ahmed Don Mohammed, Elder Daniel Olokor, former Chaiman of ABS FC, Kogi United and Confluence FC, Mallam Abdul Adama, Basketball Patrion in the country, Justice Nasiru Ajanah.
Others include Professor Aroon Baba, Mr. Segun Olobatoke, Alhaji Ahmed Imam and Mr Sunday Okaiyi
The inaugural award ceremony will come up in October 3, 2015 at the Hill Top Grant Suites, Lokoja, Kogi State.
