Jordon Ibe Eyes Win In Europa League Tie Against Bordeaux
Published: September 17, 2015Jordon Ibe is confident that Liverpool can start their Europa League campaign with a win tonight against Bordeaux at the Stade Bordeaux-Atlantique.
The Reds go into that clash against their French opponents on the back of a poor run, having drawn against Arsenal in the Premier League and losing to Manchester United and West Ham while scoring only once.
But Ibe believes Liverpool can get their season back on track ahead of two home games in the Europa League against Sion and Rubin Kazan.
“Getting a positive result in the away game would help us nicely, then coming home, with the fans helping us, we should do well, ” Ibe told liverpoolfc.com.
“The last two games have been disappointing so it will be a chance for us to get some points and do well.”
