Ahmed Musa Named Second Best Player In CSKA Moscow

In a poll conducted by the official website of CSKA Moscow, stand - in Super Eagles skipper Ahmed Musa was named the second best player at the club for the month of August.

The accolade went to Russian national - teamer Igor Akinfeev (28 percent), who was involved in eight matches for the Muscovites last month.

Musa also played the same number of games and tallied three times in Champions League matches against Sparta Prague and Sporting Lisbon.

In the Russian Premier League, the ex Kano Pillars and VVV Venlo star was on target against Spartak Moscow and Rostov.

The Player of the Month Award was voted on by the fans of The Army Men via pfc-cska.com.
