Pahang FA Stop Dickson Nwakaeme From Featuring Against Liverpool
Published: July 24, 2015Allnigeriasoccer.com can reveal that Pahang FA attacker Dickson Nwakaeme would have played for Malaysia XI in the high profile friendly against Liverpool but was blocked from doing so by the higher ups at The Elephant.
Initially, the ex KuPS star was named to Malaysia XI’s 20 - man squad list by the The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) but manager Dollah Salleh omitted him from the roster three days before the exhibition game.
Nwakaeme explained to allnigeriasoccer.com : “ My club president did not want me to play. No good reasons.
“But I think he’s scared of other teams scouting me from the game.
“He wants me to finish my career here with Pahang which is not possible.”
The 29 - year - old Nwakaeme was among the five foreign players that made the preliminary roster.
