Agent Urges Napoli To Sign New Didier Drogba, Jerry Mbakogu
Published: July 24, 2015Jerry Mbakogu’s intermediary, Andrea D’Amico , has suggested that Napoli will make a good investment if they sign his client from newly promoted Serie A side Carpi.
With 15 goals to his name after 30 matches last season, D’Amico has likened the former Juve Stabia player to Ivory Coast star Didier Drogba.
“Mbakogu is a nice player , reminds me of Drogba and he is intelligent and respectful and if he came to Naples would be a good investment,” D’Amico was quoted as saying by tuttomercatoweb.com.
“The have been contacts with Carpi and Napoli but one thing to talk , another is to start negotiations . There is still a month off of the market .”
The 22 - year - old Mbakogu was named to the Serie B Team of the Season at the end of May.
