The 18 - year - old sat out the 1 - 0 win over Melbourne City this past weekend as a precaution after picking up a minor hamstring strain.
Speaking ahead of the clash against the Italians at Melbourne Cricket Ground , manager Manuel Pellegrini confirmed that Iheanacho has recovered from the ailment.
The Chilean coach will run the rule over the Flying Eagles attacking midfielder during the pre - season games before taking a decision on whether or not he is ripe for a first team spot.
