DONE DEAL : Izu Azuka Signs Five - Month Contract With FC Taraz
Published: July 10, 2015Kazakhstan Premier League side FC Taraz have snapped up Nigeria international Izu Azuka from rivals FC Irtysh Pavlodar.
With the 26 - year - old’s former contract with Irtysh Pavlodar supposed to expire in December 2015, it means FC Taraz have bought out the player from the remainder of his contract, having signed a five - month deal with the 1996 champions.
Hasan Egilmez, Izu Azuka’s intermediary, said : “He signed a five - month contract on Tuesday until the end of this season.
“We keep the doors open for the next window for Turkey again or China.
“The league is still going on, he is getting good money there and the coach of Taraz was crazy about him.”
For the remainder of this season, Izu Azuka will wear the number 13 shirt.
A product of Sharks, the attacker previously defended the colours of teams in Algeria, Libya, Tunisia and Turkey.
