Nigeria Under 23s Coach Samson Siasia May Be Arrested By Lagos-Based Agent Over =N=250,000 Advance Fee Fraud
Published: July 04, 2015Allnigeriasoccer.com can confirm beyond reasonable doubt that a Lagos - based licensed agent has cried foul after he was duped by Nigeria Under 23s coach Samson Siasia.
Few weeks after he was appointed coach of the Nigeria Under 23s, the retired Super Eagles striker traveled all the way to Lagos to solicit for funds, without the approval of the Nigeria Football Federation, from a top agent.
Samson Siasia told the agent that he met the Fifa Goal Project pitch in Abuja in an unplayable condition and needed funds to work on the pitch.
While he was not given the exact sum he asked for, the patriotic agent transferred =N= 250,000 ($1,250) to a bank account nominated by Samson Siasia, with a proviso that the borrowed funds must be returned to him.
On top of that, the ex Nantes forward was booked into a four star hotel and was caught frolicking with women of easy virtue during his stay at the hotel located in Ikoyi.
Samson Siasia had promised to invite three of the agent’s foreign - based players to the Dream Team VI camping exercise held in December but went back on his word after he called up only one , östersunds FK midfielder Samuel Monday Ayinoko.
Up to this very moment, Samson Siasia has not paid back the money he borrowed from the agent, who has vowed to report him to the authorities.
