Dream Team Striker Paul Onuachu Shocked Over Resignation Of Coach Riddersholm
Published: June 26, 2015
Paul Onuachu was shocked to learn that Glen Riddersholm has quit his job as coach of FC Midtjylland after guiding them to their first league title in the 2014 - 2015 season.
The lanky striker has admitted that he had a father - like relationship with Riddersholm, who kept on mentoring him when he arrived in Denmark from nursery club FC Ebedei.
“It was very very shocking wen I head the news about the man who really brought joy and happiness this year to FCM,
“And who believed in me and encouraged me, not just a coach to me but also a father.
“I will still keep in touch for an advise, all the best to Mr Glen. Winners never quit,” Paul Onuachu stated.
The Nigeria Under 23 international has returned to the Danish Superliga champions, having spent a part of last season on loan at Vejle Boldklub.
In the meantime, Brian Priske and Lars Friis will take charge of training the squad until FCM find Riddersholm’s successor.
