Spanish Kit Manufacturer Abouna Sport In Talks With Nigerian Clubs
Published: June 19, 2015Nigeria Professional Football League clubs will soon benefit from a kit sponsorship deal from a Spanish kit company Abouna Sport with plants in Tunisia to service the African market.
According to the company official representative in Nigeria Mr Idris Ibrahim, the CEO of Diamond Management Limited, the aim of the kit sponsorship is to achieve three important objectives.
The company wants to produce a world standard and befitting kits for our professional clubs. Secondly, it will save costs incurred by our clubs in purchasing substandard kits in the open market.
Finally, the kit manufacturer wants to open up a merchandise scheme for our clubs and enhance their revenue by producing replicas for resale to their fans at profit. The kit deal shall cover the main team and their feeders team.
Diamond Management Limited shall be partnering the clubs kitted with some clubs abroad so as to open them up for business in the area of technical exchange,youth players development, players transfer and other mutual commercial benefits.
They have started negotiation with some clubs already and are very hopeful everything will be concluded soon.
The kit company has been very active in Africa and they are kit sponsors to some national team and club sides in Africa.
