Investigation : Lesbian Swedish Coach Pia Sundhage Rejects Offer To Coach Super Falcons Due To NFF Attitude Towards Lesbian Players
Published: June 18, 2015As first published by allnigeriasoccer.com via social media, Sweden’s women’s national team coach, Pia Sundhage, has turned down an approach from the Nigeria Football Federation to coach the Super Falcons.
Pia Sundhage is regarded as one of the top female coaches in the world , if not the best, and it is understood that the former Lazio striker was contacted by representatives of the Nigeria Federation to handle the African champions post World Cup following the country’s dismal performance in Canada.
Impeccable sources in the know have told this website that Pia Sundhage rejected the offer from the NFF because of their attitude towards lesbian players.
The 55 - year - old manager would have been paid a minimum of $240,000 per annum if she had accepted the proposal from the Nigeria Football Federation.
It is confirmed beyond reasonable doubt that at least four players named to Nigeria’s World Cup roster, including a star striker and a defender based overseas, are lesbians but they managed to sneak into the squad undetected.
On the other hand, the top stars of Nigerian female football - mostly based in Scandinavia - were dropped because of their sexual orientation.
