Eddy Onazi Remorseful After Taking Walk Of Shame In AFCON Qualifier Vs Chad

Around the 80th minute mark, Eddy Onazi took the walk of shame for retaliating against the opponents after the referee had awarded the home team a spot kick for a foul on Odion Ighalo.
In a series of tweets, Onazi started by saying : “I let my team mates and our loyal fans down with my action on the pitch today. I apologise for my actions. Thank you for your usual support.”

The central midfielder is automatically suspended for the Super Eagles next African Cup of Nations fixture against Tanzania in September.
