Birmingham City Winger Viv Solomon - Otabor Boards British Airways Flight To Nigeria To Link Up With Olympic Team
Published: June 10, 2015Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Birmingham City winger Viv Solomon - Otabor will begin training with Nigeria’s Under 23 National Team on or before Friday.
The 19 - year - old is presently at the airport in London, where he will board a British Airways flight to Abuja.
During the training camp, coach Samson Siasia will run the rule over Solomon - Otabor before deciding whether he would invite him for the African Under 23 Championship qualifier against Congo in July.
Last month, Birmingham City announced that the Anglo - Nigerian’s contract has been extended for one year.
Viv Solomon - Otabor is yet to make an appearance for the youth teams of England and does not need Fifa’s clearance to play for Nigeria.
