Sylvester Igboun Hints At FC Midtjylland Exit Despite The Lure Of Champions League Football
Sylvester Igboun has spoken of his delight after helping FC Midtjylland win their first Danish Superliga title since the formation of the club.

The Wolves achieved the feat thanks to their goalless draw against Vestsjælland on Thursday evening, with Igboun and compatriot Izunna Uzochukwu handed starting berths by coach Riddersholm while Hassan joined the fray in the 64th minute.

“This is the first time ever FCM have won the title and I am so happy to be part of the history,” says Sylvester Igboun to allnigeriasoccer.com.

“I am so happy and I thank God for making it possible. It means a lot to me because we wanted it so much and now we have it despite three games left, all thanks to God Almighty.”

The FC Ebedei product, who was linked with a move to China in the January transfer window, has dropped a big hint that he could severe ties with FCM in the summer despite the lure of Champions League football.

“I don’t know about the future if I’m going to be here or not but of course I hope for the best.

“My wish is to leave and continue my career elsewhere and if that doesn’t happen I will also like to commit myself to the great club that has given me so much,” he concluded.

The FC Midtjylland number 44 has scored 9 goals in 28 appearances so far this season.
