Peter Utaka Nets Third Goal Of The Season For Shimizu S-Pulse

Shimizu S-Pulse continued their poor form in the J1 League with yet another loss, this time at home to Yokohama F. Marinos.

At the  IAI Stadium Nihondaira (Shizuoka) on Saturday morning, Shimizu S-Pulse lost 2 - 1 to the visitors.

Peter Utaka had given them hope that they will get a point from the game by equalizing in the 61st minute only for Fujimoto to bag the game - winner three minutes later.

The Super Eagles striker is one of the shining lights in Shimizu S-Pulse’s dismal season , with 3 goals to his name after 9 matches.

After 12 rounds in the top flight, Shimizu S-Pulse are 16th on the 18 - team table, with just a point separating them from bottom team  Ventforet Kofu.
