Bright Dike BACKING His Sister Courtney To Make Nigeria World Cup Roster
Published: May 13, 2015Nigeria international Bright Dike has publicly supported his little sister Courtney Dike in her bid to make the Super Falcons FIFA Women’s World Cup roster.
The Oklahoma University undergraduate has been training with the Falcons since Tuesday, and she is hoping to be included in the 23 - player squad, having starred for the Nigeria U20s last year.
“Wish @CourtneyDike good luck as she is in preliminary training camp for the World Cup this summer with Nigeria full national team, ” Bright Dike said on social media.
The 20 - year - old Courtney Dike appeared in every single game contested by the Falconets in Canada, scoring two goals.
She scored the fastest goal in the competition’s history after only 18 seconds in a 2 - 1 win against Korea Republic.
