Agents Reacts To Rumoured NFF Deadline Given To Success; Granada Maintain Striker Is Fully Fit
Published: May 12, 2015Lagos based intermediary Dominic Egbukwu, who advises Granada striker Isaac Success, has reacted to reports in the media that claimed his client will be dropped from the Flying Eagles squad if he does not appear in camp by Friday.
Because of the Andalusian club’s precarious league position, it is believed that the Udinese loanee will only be released to the national team at the end of the season, specifically May 24th.
“There is nothing like that. The story is not true. It is not anybody’s fault that he has not joined the team yet,” says Dominic Egbukwu to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“We have sent the communication we had with the Udinese President to Manu Garba and the Nigeria Federation.
“We are hoping to get a reply from the NFF today. Granada are pleading with the NFF that they should consider their league position. The Flying Eagles coaches and Team Secretary are aware of his predicament.
“Success is fighting to play for his country. If they are giving him 72 hours as it is being reported, what of the other player yet to arrive in Germany?”
Meanwhile, Granada have reiterated that Isaac Success is in good physical condition contrary to malicious and unverified reports in the media back home.
“Success is training every day. He is fit and ready for the tournament, ” team manager Granada B, Javi Jimenez, personally informed allnigeriasoccer.com on Tuesday afternoon.
