Exclusive : Manchester City To Blame For Kelechi Iheanacho Visa Hitch
Published: May 12, 2015Allnigeriasoccer.com has been told that Manchester City are partly to blame for the failure of Flying Eagles star Kelechi Iheanacho to procure a visa to Germany to link up with the Nigeria Under 20s.
Only last year, The Citizens had processed a Schengen Visa for another Nigeria Under 20 international Chidiebere Nwakali but did not do so for Iheanacho as the club had no intention of letting him go on loan to a foreign club.
As regards to the visa hitch, the Manchester City striker is in touch with the Flying Eagles handlers and there is nothing to worry about as there are assurances that he will get the document in a matter of days.
While Iheanacho may be struggling to obtain a Germany visa, it’s a different scenario for Granada striker Isaac Success.
The top scorer at the 2013 CAF Under 17 Championship is in the possession of a Spanish residence permit and does not need a visa to Germany.
Few weeks ago, before the Nigeria Under 20s left for Germany, Isaac Success had mailed his international passport to the Flying Eagles backroom staff to process his visa to New Zealand along with other Flying Eagles players.
