Chichi Ubogagu Scores Match - Winner As Arsenal Beat Manchester City
Published: April 19, 2015Ex United States youth - teamer Chioma Ubogagu scored the match winner for Arsenal Ladies in their 1 - 0 win over Manchester City at the Academy Stadium on Sunday evening.
In her first start for The Gunners since arriving London from Stanford University in February, Ubogagu justified her inclusion by scoring the important goal in the 35th minute which gave her team the maximum points.
The 22 - year - old was subbed out in the 80th minute for England international Rachel Yankey.
Born in the United States, Chioma Ubogagu scored on her league debut against Notts County on April 2nd.
Eniola Aluko’s Chelsea and Arsenal are the only undefeated teams in the Women’s Super League after three rounds.
