Obafemi Martins Nominated For Goal Of The Week Award
Published: April 07, 2015Obafemi Martins’s 39th minute strike against Houston Dynamo has been nominated for the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week for the latest round of games in the MLS.
The other players on the five - man shortlist are Juan Agudelo (New England Revolution ) Javier Morales (Real Salt Lake) , Benoit Cheyrou (Toronto FC) and Joevin Jones (Chicago Fire) .
The winner will be voted on by fans on the official website of the MLS before the deadline of 23:59 hours on Thursday, April 9.
Nigerian - born Switzerland international Innocent Emeghara won the accolade in Week 2, beating compatriot Fanendo Adi, David Villa, Alan Gordon and Fabián Castillo.
The winner of the most eye catching goal will be announced on Friday.
