Super Eagles Climb One Position In Fifa Ranking
Published: March 12, 2015On Thursday morning, the official website of Fifa published its latest ranking of national teams.
Compared to their position the previous month, the Super Eagles of Nigeria have climbed one place, and now occupy the 41st position, while in the continental ranking, the deposed African champions are in seventh position.
Algeria lead the way followed by current Africa champions Ivory Coast, Ghana, Tunisia and Senegal in that order.
The Super Eagles opponents during the international break, Bolivia and South Africa , occupy the 92nd and 55th position respectively.
World Cup finalists Germany and Argentina have maintained their positions in the ranking, with Colombia, Belgium and Holland completing the top five.
The next ranking will be published by the official website of Fifa, fifa.com on 9th April, 2015.
