Chelsea have qualified for the semifinals of the UEFA Youth League following a 2 - 0 win over Atlético Madrid on Tuesday afternoon at Cobham Training Centre (Stoke dAbernon, Surrey).

Anglo - Nigerian forward Dominic Solanke continued his fine run of form, scoring one minute from time after an own goal by Fran Manzanara gave The Blues the lead in the first half.

Temitayo Aina, Fikayo Tomori all started and completed the game while Ike Ugbo failed to come off the bench.

Solanke is the leading scorer in the UEFA Youth League, having netted nine times, including a hat - trick against Sporting Lisbon on December 10.

In the last four, Chelsea will play the winner of Roma and Manchester City.
