REVEALED : Joel Obi Failed To Agree Personal Terms With Al Arabi In January
Published: March 06, 2015Italian - based transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio has opened up on the circumstances that led to Joel Obi failing to move to Al - Arabi in the January transfer window.
According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, Inter Milan had struck a deal with Al - Arabi over an exchange involving the Nigeria international for Belgian winger Paul-Jose Mpoku.
But Obi and his entourage failed to agree personal terms with the Qatari club, which threw a spanner in the works.
The 23 - year - old midfielder has contractual obligations with the Nerazzurri until June 30, 2017.
He has recorded 10 appearances (6 starts) in the Serie A in the ongoing campaign.
