Kalmar To Run The Rule Over Taiwo Awoniyi At African Youth Championship
Published: March 04, 2015Thomas Andersson Borstam , the sporting director of Kalmar, will travel to Senegal to run the rule over the club’s Under 21 player, Taiwo Awoniyi, at the African Youth Championship.
“Taiwo has made a positive view during their preparations. He’s only 17 and meet players who are one, two years older.
“He is the Vice Captain of the team and is an exciting player. It will be fun to see him and it is important that we are there.
“There will be a bit of a scouting trip to scan the market,” says Thomas Andersson Borstam to 24Kalmar.se.
The Flying Eagles front - man will sign a four - year deal with the Swedish Allsvenskan side in August when he clocks 18, all things being equal.
