Kelechi Iheanacho Injured Again , Replaced After Ten Minutes In UEFA Youth League Game
After months on the sidelines, Nigeria youth international Kelechi Iheanacho returned to action, as Manchester City defeated Schalke 04 to progress to the quarter - finals of the UEFA Youth League.

The attacker started the game on the bench, but was introduced in the 69th minute, replacing England youth - teamer Brandon Barker .

However, it appears Kelechi Iheanacho suffered a relapse to his knee injury as he was replaced ten minutes later after picking up an injury.

At the end of 90 minutes and with the scoreline reading 1 - 1, the game had to be decided on penalties.

The Citizens were luckier in the shootout , with goalkeeper Gunn saving the fourth spot-kick by the Germans, which sent the English team to the last eight of the competition.

Anglo - Nigerian Tosin Adarabioyo lasted the entire duration in the game held at the Academy Stadium.
