FCT Football Association Elections To Hold On Monday
Published: February 22, 2015Elections into the Board of the FCT Football Association will hold in Abuja on Monday February 23, 2015.
According to the Secretary of the Electoral Committee, Usman Haruna Ilerika, 12 candidates are contesting for the various available Board positions.
Quoting his words, the scribe said “ among those vying for the various elective positions in FCT FA Board are the incumbent Chairman Alhaji Musa Saeed Talle, two foremost Sports journalists here in Abuja Mr. Patrick Ngwaogu and Mr. Tolulope Oguntimehin.
“Mr. Ngwaogu is contesting for the position of Vice Chairman 1, while Tolu Oguntimehin is vying for Board membership representing the Nigeria National League clubs in FCT.
“Others are Barrister Nlemigbo Victoria, Mr. Adejumo Akintunde Oluyemi, Zakari Musa, Mohammed Adamu, Sariki Hamidu, Onigbinde Akinade,Elisha Magaji,Godwin Bamigboye and Luka Mohammed”.
The Secretary said that the elections would be organized in full compliance with the laid down electoral guidelines by the NFF.
He promised that his committee would deliver a free, fair and transparent elections, with the winners and losers embracing each other.
