Due to a thigh muscle injury the striker picked up in Hapoel Ra’anana’s last match in the Israeli Premier League, Anthony Nwakaeme will not feature in the club’s next match against Ironi Kiryat Shmona.

The striker scored his fifth goal of the season in the 2 - 1 win over Maccabi Netanya, which came in the last minute of normal time.

Remarkably, Nwakaeme has started and completed every single game played by
Hapoel Ra’anana in the league this term., and the game against Ironi Kiryat Shmona will be the first he will miss.

According to initial prognosis by club medics, the forward will spend between two - three weeks on the sidelines.

The 25 - year - old was courted by Hapoel Beer Sheva in the just concluded transfer window.
