Ahmed Musa Fancies CSKA Moscow Chances After Win Over Man City
Published: November 06, 2014Ahmed Musa has been commenting on the chances of CSKA Moscow qualifying for the knock out rounds of the Champions League following their 2 - 1 win over Manchester City.
After their fourth match in the competition, the Army Men have garnered four points, after winning once and drawing the home leg of the clash against the English Premier League champions.
Speaking to the official website of UEFA, Ahmed Musa said : “We have a very big chance [to qualify] after winning today. We have to just go back home and work very hard to see if we can win the next home game. With the victory today we have very big confidence.”
Ivory Coast international Seydou Doumbia netted a brace as the Muscovites won their first - ever game in England.
“Doumbia] is very good. Today he had a great game and he gave us the win so I am very happy about that.
“I am not surprised because we [saw] in Moscow that we could win this game. That is why you saw today that we played a very good game,” said Musa to uefa.com.
The CSKA Moscow number 18 started and completed the tie on Wednesday night.
