Red Star Belgrade Loanee Ifeanyi Onyilo Rues Draw Against Ayia Napa
Published: October 27, 2014Ermis Aradippou attacker Ifeanyi Onyilo ended his mini - goal drought when he hit target for his Cypriot First Division team in their 2 - 2 home draw with Ayia Napa on Sunday.
Prior to the encounter at the Stadio Dasaki Achnas, the Red Star Belgrade loanee had not found the back of the net for slightly over two months, with his last strike coming on his official debut against Doxa back in August.
Ifeanyi Onyilo’s goal after 48 minutes gave Ermis a two - goal cushion before a brace from Kolokoudias ensured that the opponents got a share of the spoils.
In his post match comments to allnigeriasoccer.com, Onyilo said : “ We over relaxed when we went two goals ahead and lost concentration; that’s the reason Ayia Napa came back to tie the game and they took their chances.”
“I wasn’t really bothered about not scoring in the other games. The thing is to give your best to the tea and the goals will come by itself, and to work hard in every game.”
Ermis Aradippou occupy ninth position in the standings after winning only two out of their opening seven games.
