Lukman Haruna Omitted From Dynamo Kiev Squad To Face Aalborg
Published: October 22, 2014Nigeria international Lukman Haruna will not be on parade at the Nordiyske Arena when Dynamo Kiev square off against Aalborg in the Europa League on Thursday.
The central midfielder has recovered from injury but he is lacking match fitness, which has contributed to the decision of manager Sergei Rebrov to omit him from the traveling party to Denmark.
However, that should not raise eyebrows, with his last appearance for the Kievites coming exactly three months ago in the Super Cup clash against Shakhtar Donetsk.
Having said that, the 23 - year - old was one of the most outstanding players for the capital outfit during pre - season training.
Lukman Haruna last featured in the Europa League last February in the goalless draw with Valencia.
