Visa Hitch Stops Kehinde Owoeye From Facing Zorya In Europa League
KF Laci, Albania left for Ukraine on Tuesday to keep a date with Zorya in the Europa League without their young Nigerian midfielder Kehinde Owoeye.

The 18 - year - old had applied for a visa at the Ukrainian Embassy in Skopje but was not successful.

Also, he was not granted a visa to Kosovo, where the plane is scheduled to have a stopover, before the squad embarks on another flight to Istanbul and Kiev.

“I do not know exactly what the problem is because I am not the only one who didn’t get the visa. Some of the Albanian players, I mean my teammates, did not get the visa too.

“We are three Nigerians in the team and I am the only Nigerian who was not issued a visa,” Kehinde Owoye told allnigeriasoccer.com.

KF Laci are one of Albania’s representatives in this season’s Europa League after finishing third in the Superliga in the 2013 - 2014 campaign.

The Ukrainian side thrashed Laci  3 - 0 in the first leg, second round qualifying fixture held last Thursday.
