Official : Blackburn Rovers And Dickson Etuhu Go Their Separate Ways
Published: July 01, 2014With a brief statement on its official website, Blackburn Rovers has announced that the club has mutually terminated the contract binding them with Nigeria international Dickson Etuhu.
Assuming the two parties did not shred the agreement, the central midfielder would have remained at Ewood Park until the summer of 2016.
During the two years he spent at Blackburn Rovers, injuries curtailed his appearances to 23 matches in the Championship, and 3 of those came in the 2013 - 2014 campaign.
Dickson Etuhu started his professional career with Manchester City before moving to Preston North End, Norwich City, Sunderland and Fulham in that order.
The 32 - year - old represented Nigeria at the 2010 World Cup, playing all the group matches against Argentina, Greece and South Korea.
