Published: June 15, 2014This is official. Zamalek SC have beaten rivals Al Ahly in the struggle for the signature of highly rated starlet Maroof Yusuf, 21.
The attacking midfielder has appended his signature to a three - year deal with the White Knight , which has effectively ended his four - year association with Police Union.
Maroof Yusuf has been a long - term target of Zamalek, who unsuccessfully attempted to poach him last September from Police Union.
He sported the colours of Kwara United and Lobi Stars before his switch to Police Union.
His contract with Police Union would have expired at the end of next season, assuming he did not shred the agreement.
