Published: March 30, 2014
Sylvester Igboun is good when it comes to calculating on how to get past defenders in the Danish Superliga but the FC Midtjylland striker must work on his Statistics in real life.
After netting his seventh goal of the season against Randers on Sunday, he played dumb when questioned on the fact that his 90th minute strike was his first goal for the Wolves for the past nine games, dating back to October 26, 2013.
“Seriously I did not know I have not scored for the past nine games. Anyway, it is okay since I know I am doing my best to help the team. and also creating chances for my teammates, then that is good.
“At least I have broken the record of not scoring in nine matches and I am sure there are more goals to come,” Sylvester Igboun told allnigeriasoccer.com.
With nine rounds left before the end of the Superliga, he would break his record number of goals in a season if he finds the back of the net two more times.
