Published: March 23, 2014
Despite joining the fray past the half way stage in the second half, Victor Obinna got high marks in Italy following his display against Roma in the Serie A on Saturday.
The Nigeria National Teamer was introduced by manager Eugenio Corini in the 70th minute as replacement for Dejan Lazarevi and he got the highest ratings of the 14 Chievo Verona players on display at the Stadio Marc Antonio Bentegodi (Verona).
Victor Obinna was scored 6.5 out of 10 by the editors of Tuttomercatoweb.com, more than Rigoni and Paloschi, who have both accounted for almost half of the goals scored by the Flying Donkeys in the Italian championship.
“The regret is to not having but him before earlier. He changed the face of the Chievo attack with his input,” says Tuttomercatoweb.
Victor Obinna, 26, is yet to get off the mark for Chievo Verona after 4 Serie A games.
