Ahmed Musa Scores Seventh Goal Of The Season

CSKA Moscow have qualified for the quarter finals of the Russian Cup following the 2 - 0 win over Second Division table-toppers Sokol Saratov on Sunday at Arena Khimki.
Mario Fernandez opened the scoring for the capital outfit before Nigeria international Ahmed Musa struck in the 59th minute.
That was Musa’s first goal in the cup this season, whereas he netted four times in the competition last term.
He shares the record of scoring in consecutive matches with the iconic Spartak Moscow midfielder Andrei Tikhonov, who scored four goals in a row in the same competition 16 years ago.
In the last eight of the tourney, the defending champions will square off with Terek Grozny, who defeated Saransk Mordovia 3-2 in the last 16.
