After only five months at the Super League outfit, the 27 - year - old unilaterally terminated his contract last December citing backlog of unpaid entitlements.
Gazzetta.gr says Aris made a last-ditch attempt to convince Chigozie Udoji not to severe ties with the club but the Nigerian rejected their advances.
Now, the relegation threatened team have to fight their cause without one of their top players for the remainder of the season.
