Exclusive : Martins Ekwueme Agrees Short Term Contract With Sporting Clube de Goa
Published: February 14, 2014Allnigeriasoccer.com can confirm a report by 90minut.pl that Martins Ekwueme is on the verge of a move to Sporting Clube de Goa, with the midfielder even claiming a deal is in place with the I - League side.
Following the termination of his contract with Flota Swinoujscie, he is free to sign for any club of his choice despite the window being closed.
Speaking to allnigeriasoccer.com, the 28 - year - old said : “I have signed a contract with Sporting Club de Goa till the end of the season.
“At the end of the season, I will evaluate the options available to me. It is time for a fresh challenge and that’s why I chose India.”
The ex Wisla Krakow ace will start training with his new teammates on Monday, February 17.
