Anthony Ujah Resumes Training After Injury Scare
Published: January 16, 2014
Cologne forward Anthony Ujah , 23, limped out of training on Monday.
It was thought the Nigeria international had suffered a laceration in his right calf and may be on the sidelines for an unspecified period.
But scans later conducted showed positive signals, meaning he could feature in the exhibition game with Schalke 04 this weekend.
“It is correct I was injured but it is not something very serious.
“I am back to training with Cologne just a day after picking the knock,” says Anthony Ujah to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Anthony Ujah is the eighth leading scorer in the 2 Bundesliga with 7 goals in 19 games.
