Rilwan Hassan Out For Two Months
Published: January 13, 2014
Rilwan Hassan is set to spend the next two months on the sidelines due to a thigh injury and there are now question marks regarding his availability for the meeting with OB Odense on Saturday, February 22.
The 22 - year - old has only just recovered from a groin complaint which limited his appearances for table topping Midtjylland in the first round.
“First of all, we regret on Rilwan’s behalf. It is booming too bad for him.
“After he got well over his groin injury in the fall, he returned to his usual level during the spring and be a key player for us.
“Now we can at worst have a player that we do not get anything out of the spring, and of course it’s a great line in the bill.
“Conversely, it is once again one of the young players the opportunity to have a good winter and seize the opportunity,”manager Glen Riddersholm told the official website.
Had it not been for Hassan’s physical condition, he may have signed for Bundesliga side Eintracht Braunschweig this past summer, according to information from tipsbladet.dk.
The Germans were interested in the former FC Ebdei talent but they pulled out of talks because of the groin injury he had as at that time.
