Ikechukwu Uche Not Getting Carried Away With Recent Form
Published: November 24, 2013
Villarreal attacker Ikechukwu Uche is not getting carried away with his recent scoring form for the La Liga side.
The Nigeria international has now netted five times in his last five matches, having scored a brace against Levante on Sunday afternoon.
Speaking to Canal Plus, Ikechukwu Uche has insisted that the Yellow Submarine will take each game as it comes.
“We look at every game, going to try to win all we can and we’ll see where we have gotten to. Now we have to enjoy it and prepare for the next match.
“I’ve taken advantage of my opportunity. The team has been very good, especially with the penalty, we are on a good run and we must go on,” says Ikechukwu Uche to Canal Plus.
Fourth on the table Villarreal are provisionally 7 points above nearest challengers Athletic Club in the race for the last Champions League spot.
