Emmanuel Emenike Believes Eagles Can Do The Job
Published: September 18, 2013Fenerbahçe attacker Emmanuel Emenike has commented on the World Cup play - off draw which pitted the Super Eagles against Ethiopia.
The African Cup of Nations golden boot winner has admitted that the Super Eagles have the qualities to overcome the opposition from East Africa.
“I think the most important thing is for us to believe in ourselves and go out there to do the job and because we are African champions.
“Everybody will want to play us and try to beat us but we just have to go there and do what we know how to do best,”Emenike was quoted as saying by Brila FM.
26 - year - old Emenike has notched up 6 goals in his last 8 appearances for the National Team.
On the other hand, he has failed to score a single goal in 6 matches for Istanbul giants Fenerbahçe.
