Official : Chuks Aneke Joins Crewe Alexandra On Loan
Published: August 04, 2013Crewe Alexandra has revealed through a statement on its official website, crewealex.net that promising Anglo - Nigerian midfielder Chuks Aneke has joined the League One side on a six month - loan deal from Arsenal.
This is Chuks Aneke's second loan spell with the Railwaymen, for whom he recorded 8 goals in 38 appearances in the 2012 - 2013 season.
The England youth - teamer was part of Arsenal's pre - season tour of Asia, making substitute appearances in victories over Indonesian Dream Team, Vietnam and Nagoya Grampus.
'' Chuks is a very creative player, who can play that killer pass behind centre-halves and full-backs.
'' He is a big, strong lad and has two great feet. We are absolutely delighted to have him back.
'' He made his wish to come back here and we can only thank Arsenal for all their help,'' manager Steve Davis told the official website.
Chuks Aneke will play with the number 26 jersey during his loan spell at the Alexandra Stadium.
He previously had loan spells with with Stevenage and Preston North End .
